Katherine Nan Koinzan was brought into the world on March 18, 2022 at 9:40pm. She lived for one beautiful hour before peacefully passing, embraced by her mother’s love. While her life on Earth was brief, we share her story so that her light will forever shine.
Please join us in lighting this candle on Katherine’s birthday. By doing so, you will be celebrating our precious daughter, as she sits alongside so many other precious angels. Our hope is that you feel a little closer to our babies who have gone too soon.
Keep looking where the light pours in; a beautiful reminder that where there is light, there is hope.
A portion from sales of this candle will be donated to Luella's Lodge, a non-profit in Oakwood, Illinois that provides support groups and non-traditional holistic therapies for families grieving the death of a child. Luella’s Lodge utilizes a beautiful log cabin on 10 peaceful and serene acres with a private lake, hiking and biking trails to provide a retreat where families can connect with one another through grief and healing.

care & safety
Always trim your wick to 1/4" before each lighting (you can use scissors or a wick trimmer).
Always burn candles long enough for the wax to melt to the edges of the jar to prevent uneven wax, especially important on the first burn.
Don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable. Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep or if the flame gets too close to the candle jar. A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.
