Support & Resources

Finding support can be a challenge when you are navigating a difficult season, but you are not alone. Below is a list of organizations supporting families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, and more. My hope is to take the burden of searching off of you by providing the resources that may help bring comfort and healing during your grief journey.

Forever Footprints | Tustin, CA

What began as a small remembrance walk in 2005 with 100 participants, has since evolved into a multi-faceted nonprofit organization that has served families throughout Southern California and around the world. Thanks to the work of many passionate families, sponsors, employees, volunteers and supporters, the organization provides direct services, educates the medical community to improve quality of care and response, and offers opportunities for remembrance to help families find their own path to healing.

Gathering Hope | Aledo, TX

From annual gatherings that serve as a catalyst for moms to begin forming relationships to private Facebook groups that help women support each other online, Gathering Hope is a collection of people who have been touched by pregnancy and/or infant loss and are committed to connecting families to the available resources, communities and support structures to help bring about healing and comfort.

No Foot Too Small | Iowa

No Foot Too Small (NFTS), founded by Robin and Ryan Boudreau, was inspired by the loss of their son Beau in 2013.  NFTS was founded out of a desire to draw awareness to pregnancy loss + infant mortality while encouraging the celebration of angels.  In just seven years, thousands have gathered for the annual events to honor babies who’ve lost their lives too soon.  Initially serving families across Iowa, NFTS is expanding across the country.  With a mission to serve families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, NFTS has gifted more than $500k to critical initiatives and celebrated countless angels since it’s inception.

Abel Speaks | Dallas, TX

There are no words to describe the moment where you learn that your child’s life may be far shorter than you’d ever hoped or imagined. It feels impossible to know where to turn, and even take another step. Founded by a couple who found themselves in that very position, Abel Speaks was born out of this experience and exists to walk with parents who have chosen to carry a child with a life-limiting diagnosis. Abel Speaks has a specific God-given mission to support families and provides free services such as mentorship, medical connections, maternity and birth photography, community retreats, commemorative keepsakes and celebration of life.

The Morning

The Morning is a community of hope for women finding joy after miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. From a podcast to a blog and from free downloadable templates and guides (how to plan a funeral + more) to a private online community and monthly virtual gatherings, The Morning provides opportunities for community as a reminder that you are not alone in your loss, and also help navigate through your loss with hope.

On Angels' Wings | Missouri

A nonprofit that provides free professional photography and support to families who have a medically fragile child from maternity to 18 years. This includes (but not limited to) genetic disorders, chromosome defects that put a child at risk, childhood cancer, heart conditions, extended NICU stays and birth loss (from 21 weeks gestation).
